ARS TELA designer Alvida Klinge launched  a smart line of Bag & Travel Accessories for Ladies and Men.

ARS TELA textile designers create a fabric design bringing out the beauty and roughness of Linen which is often called the Baltic gold. Some design fabrics tell the story of Baltic sunrise or sunset or whisper the colour palette of the Latvia Nature.

In a fruitful collaboration with Latvian Leather artists, ARS TELA hand-woven Linen Fabric is applied to genuine leather, individually selected and hand-picked for every Travel Accessory  by a Latvian Leather Artists Inese and Zanda.

Inese and Zanda with admirable passion and commitment cuts each little piece of hand-woven fabric, makes leather thinner for each piece separately and take many hours to bound by hand highest quality  leather which is imported from Italy for each Travel Accessory.  At the end, our logo is engraved purely by hand as a sign of excellence and slow production.

Almost every item is of limited edition and utmostly one piece.

Latvian-made designs represent cultural and historical heritage, uniquely combining the simplicity of Scandinavia with the opulence of Slavic decoration that is unique to Latvia’s location within the Baltics. Combining heritage with modern technologies, allows the development of products minimalist yet hand quality feeling in Baltic design. Each of the four designer and brand panelists have their own unique experience in the field of design, and together they will cover the Latvian design sector and discuss the natural, ecological, functional, extravagant, and unique take on products in today’s world.

In August of 2017, ARS TELA new AUTUMN/WINTER 2018  Interior Textile Collection debuted at NY Now Fair in New York, USA. 

 Plaid and Cushion Collections were immediately snapped up by buyers from East to West Coast far exceeding ARS TELA sales expectations.

ARS TELA is proud to design and hand-weave for its NY partner exquisite Table Linen Accessories and woolen Throws and Baltic-grown linen Cushions. 

Since 2006 ARS TELA has been persistantly penetrating Japanese market and taking role in changing Japanese tastes in hand-woven textiles.

For many years ARS TELA has been taking part in exhibiting at INTERIOR LIFESTYLE EXHIBITION in Tokyo.

The success in Japan is mainly due to ARS TELA’S ability to adjust its home textile collections to Japanese culture and taste. Over the decade, ARS TELA team of designers have elaborated on its designs bringing the best of Latvian hand-craft heritage!
